Saw this well-dressed dog at a Pet Expo with her very proud (and matching) "mom." Spending vast amounts of money on one's companion animals and taking the little ones everywhere certainly looks like a trend to me. The dressing-up bit ... well, I don't suppose it hurts anything.
PP - crop, burnt/blurred background some, levels, burnt/dodged dog's eyes, increased saturation on pink part of dog's outfit, colored owner's earring to be pink instead of blue, USM, resized, reduced noise, sharpened, cloned out a couple of sharpening hotspots |

| Gotta love the teeny tiny tongue hanging out. The dog is very cute, even though I'm a really a big dog person. The person holding the dog pulls the focus away from the very cute dog. It might have improved the shot to have the dog on a throne, or a really fancy bed, or something like that. |

| The face she's making is unbelievable! LOL. Certainly fits the challenge well. Not the most well-composed photo, very candid look (as I'm sure it was) but the doggie carries it. |

| i like shots like this. they seem very surreal to me. i'm not sure how intended this composition was, but capturing only part of the owner's face really adds to the bizarreness. dog's tongue hanging out seals the deal. |
