Roseanne Barr photographed at her studio - Very nice lady but will not shake your hand etc due to worries of getting germs. She is quite brisk and very quick when it comes to pics - She didn't really want to be photographed. I said something silly and got this smile. Tough job this one but I like the crop and soft light.

Best I've seen her look IMO.

Well, I can't say I blame her. I heard she got by-pass surgery and is losing alot of weight, she looks really thin here.

Another beauty, Jeff...I have seen her over the years and I can see a clear distinction between the reality of expression here, and the posed "smile" I have seen from her before.
Nice honest capture...

She looks real here. I like that. Not overly made up. Great lighting and enough detail, yet it's not harsh. GOOD STUFF.

In as difficult as it may have been, you captured something very special here. There is something very genuine in her eyes and attitude that says you captured her soul, not her performance.
So many women will do anything to get rid of the laugh lines and natural skin creases, but look at what it does for her.

This just may be the best shot I have ever seen of her.

Wow ... I like the lighting and the crop too! ... a LOT! Good job IMO. I don't know what you could have done to improve it. I think it is a great capture.
