It's hard to tell if it's going into focus or out of focus. Nice cliche :)

Barbed wire has quite a long history. This image seems to isolate the viewers attention somehow with only the one place in focus.

It may be cliche but I like it anyway. The in focus spike of the wire is so abrupt, so jarring after the smoothness the out of focus line. Creates an interesting tension.
