wow, this one got hit pretty bad. sorry to see that. I just wanted to share something i have found to fix the harsh flash spot when shooting reflective materials. It's called a LumiQuest Soft Screen. I love it and it really helps a lot. It's also not expensive at all and they make it for all styles of cameras. Hope it helps. |

The hard wood floor is not a good background for this photo, it and the lighting leaves the whole image kind of flat. |

Quite thoughtful of you! I'm not a huge fan of chocolate though. =X |

composition isn't great here, also not very sharp ... the idea that the cake is on the floor isn't very appealing to my appetite ... |

good idea but would've been a stronger shot withthe cake in front and no lid, or lid off to the side. |

Difficult lighting situation. I would like this better without the photographer's reflection in the cover. Too many specular highlights too, maybe you should have turned off some lights in the room? Also, the piece of cake that's been cut blends in too much with the brown of the background, looks like a square piece cut from a round cake. The whole image is not particularly sharp either. Sorry to sound so harsh here, just my opinion! |
