Shutter: 1/2000
Date Uploaded: Mar 17, 2007

Converted from RAW, slight crop, slight contrast adjustment, sharpened, saved for web, and submitted.

I did so very little to this shot.

I couldn't believe how this duck just stood there like it was waiting for this shot. I'll probably get clobbered, but I love this shot.

Nice duck, huh?

A near perfect shot of a duck - love the subtle details and colours.

Jeb, unfortunately I missed this one in voting. I would have given it an 8. It's wonderful! I love the colors and DOF. Great job!

Yay - another non-person person! Though in the non-person category, xxrozxx's goat definitely took the show. Very nice duck, indeed! Excellent DOF and bokeh on this. And definitely good color!

Very nice detail Jeb. It might have been a little better if the background was a little darker. JMO. Good job.

Oh Darn! I am disappointed that this wonderful photo finished so low on the totem pole! I think they were just not voting animals very high -- unfortunately! This is great!

Darn it, Jeb, I'm sorry I didn't vote. This is an awesome photo - I would have given it a great score! If you entered this in FS or a wildlife contest you definitely would have rocked the house.

Well, I would've given it a 6 had I seen it. :) Non-human shots don't bother me too much, and the pose looks almost human anyway.

The detail in the tail feathers is awesome especially with the curled up one on the tail; I guess that would be where duck tail comes from huh?
