Sorry, not meeting my definition of "portrait." I'm sure you're getting plenty of comments saying that.

As a photo on its own, try increasing the contrast and brightness some and really sharpen the front pencil. The paper is probably supposed to be white, not yellowish gray

While I get the pun, and I am usually pretty lenient with challenge descriptions, I don't feel this qualifies as a portrait. Other than that, its a nice photo. I'm sure it would have done much better in another challenge.
