One of those had to be there moments, literally 1/2 hour after a big dump of fresh snow the sun pokes through and I find this little guy on my walk at lunch. He's nibbling at some branches with a fair amount of snow on them which inevitability falls...

IDC I'm happy how it turned out :)

you know i sat in a deer blind for two 2 hour segments of time....one beginning at 6 in the morning...and didn't see a single deer....unfair....

so congrats on an adorable series of shots!

Great captures, nice to see the whole series. One suggestion - change the middle image to the right-hand side. The reason is that the deer is looking back into the image, which will help keep the eyes from "wandering" out. The current image on the right does draw eyes out a bit IMO. Love the first image with the deer licking the snow. Awesome!

Great capture for sure! I agree with glad2badad about the deer body alignment. Perhaps focus on the each of the deer's heads? Crop in a little bit tighter on the center and right frames a tad is my suggestion. Also I'm not to sure about the black frame, perhaps surrounding it in another colors like a deep brown or rust color with the black to give it a more rustic feel? JM2C.

A beautiful series of shots that you should be VERY proud of.

The subject is cute, and each photo individually is nice, but in a triptych it seems disjointed and hard to look at. I think it's because of the alignment of the deer body that we don't see. It bleeds from one frame into the next. Just an observation. Wonderful catch on getting these images!
