This was scanned from a print from a 35mm film negative. The colors, and the "look" of this photo, were completely done "in camera" and in developing the film. The only adjustments I made in photoshop were a simple levels and brightness/contrast adjustment, and even then only to make the image on my monitor match the print that I scanned as closely as possible.

The film was cross processed, which simply means that it was intentionally developed in the wrong chemicals. I shot this on slide film, but had it developed in color negative chemistry. Cross processing makes the colors go haywire, and really jacks up the contrast. I like it a lot.
