 This Gillette Castle in East Haddam CT. Shot at a high ISO on an overcast day with a small amount of noise added post.

Process:
Raw (adjust white balance, curves, sharpness), 16 bit Tiff to 8 bit. Convert to grayscale, Apply Duotone (Tritone) for sepia, convert to RGB, adjustment layer (+4 contrast), added noise (15.06% uniform), USM (20,50,0), resize, USM (200,0.5,0), save for web.

I like this image ... the tree on the right nicely balances things ... but something about it makes it look too ... erm ... busy IMO. Perhaps the added noise or a bit too heavy of a hand on the sharpening? I also think that the sepia could have been toned down a bit but that is just a personal preference thing.
