The noise in your image doesn't enhance the image, perhaps a conversion to black & white with more contrast and sharpening would give it the grainy "artsy" look that it deserves. Better focus would also help. Lastly, it's a ship; boats can be carried on a ship...

Looks low resolution and badly composed to me, and the grain really works against it. Sorry!

The nets at the top of the screen take away from the photo. The small boat in the bottom right corner is also distracting. The grain added only makes it look like either a snap shot...or you used the highest digital zoom on your camera.

if the boat is the subject then the black net on top is distracting
