 Thanks, everyone! I am shocked that this did so well!

For the curious: the egg was cooked inside a round cookie cutter - I had to gently hold the yolk in the middle with a spatula while it cooked until the white hardened sufficiently.

This shot was inspired, in general, by the work of a long-gone dpc'er jonpink, and in particular, by this beautiful, and much better photo by eyewave.

Fantastic colors and set up. The egg is a little underdone for my taste. Next time could you make it over medium? : ) Very nice. Back to bump you up to 9.

good composition, POV and color,crop at right is too tight. lighting could be enhanced - coffee and knife are too dark, while the refectons on fork and plate are slightly distracting
