What a terrible photograph, what were you thinking of?

The non-human subject doesn't bother me. But this could be much better. The lighting is very harsh. Try moving the subject away from the wall to reduce or eliminate the bright reflection. Also, try it without the light being dead center; I suspect this is with onboard flash. Try it with bright lamps nearby, on a tripod, for a longer exposure and softer lighting.

Chickened out...didn't you?

good idea, but the image seems a little flat, lights at angles would provide more dramatic lighting.

lighting is too direct and harsh

Sorry, a stuffed animal on a polyester backdrop just really isn't working for me. Nothing artful or original about it. I think sometimes people feel an urgency to enter a challenge and they just do "any old thing" when they should either bow out of that one, or set it up better.

Actualy, I cant't judge wether your model is male or female. Does it imply success at corssdressing or did you use the wrong model? Don't like the harsh lighting either. (4)

Too much going on...and the lighting is harsh against that reflective surface.
