 Shot this one in my bathroom with a black backdrop hanging from the shower curtain pole. I used a long exposure and had my friend fire an external flash. Then I switched positions in the dark, and had the flash fired again before closing the shutter. Let me tell you, this whole game is not easy. Lots of frustrating attempts before I got something semi- right. Fun experiment though! I have another version that I like a little better, but I can't submit it for this challenge because i used some spot editing.

Minor adjustments made..

Slight crop to cut out "ghost effect" around the edges.
Slight raw adjustments including curve, shadow, contrast, brightness.
-Levels and Curves
Finally USM for web viewing.

one of the best conceptual shots of the challenge. btw did anybody say, the model looks like Mr. Frodo from Lord of the rings? :)

Interesting take on this challenge. It seems to be a very fun image and might have been slightly difficult to capture, unless you are a twin that is. This is a very fun concept.

I love the concept here... wish the lighting was a bit better. There is a line coming out of the guy on the left's head that is bothering me (straight up) I'm not sure what it is. Still a good idea.

Great shot, too much contrast though, but then again it may be needed to really pull the smoke out away from the background.
