i like the checkerboard background...almost makes me dizzy but it sure has an impact and makes the tomatos stand out!

cooooool.. Great idea, love the angle you shot this at.. It gives the background an appearance of squares & the foreground one of diamonds. I love your choice of black & white against the red, it really gives a pop. The tomato's seem just a tad out of focus, but, after looking at it closer, they aren't. Must be the effect of the pattern. 10 for me.

it looks like the tomatoes weren't really on the background there is no shadow for where the stem is laying.
