Thanks to everyone for the advice. I have only been doing this as a hobby for about 2 months now. I am still learning alot, and you have all helped me with your honest opinions!

| Background is distracting - lighting is your flash- shadows too harsh. Doesn't work with the topic for me |

| Great idea, I love the smell of fresh apples. Maybe a closer shot where the apples filled the frame, or a large bushel of apples would look beter. You got the idea here, just a more interesting composition would help, I think. |

| Wonderful smell, especially this time of year. Your flash need a bit of toning down. Give a plastic bag, napkin, or tissue a try.......they will damper the bright light. |
