Thanks for showing us something that isn't the most common critter to see. I can't say as I have ever seen an elk before. Very sweet face. |

Great shot, Emily; the look on the elk's face actually reminds me of the look I got from the woman in the window in my "street photography" entry. Kind of, "Hey, why are you taking my picture?" Great shot; I'm so jealous that you have real wildlife to shoot (I have a choice; birds, or birds, or squirrels). |

Oh Emily!!! I LOVE this photo. I can't tell you how much I love elk! They remind me of our trips to the Rocky Mountains where they roam in such abundance! This is an amazing photo! A very heart-grabbing personal one for me :) I just love the snow all over his chin, like you interrupted his lunch :)
