All thats left of Turners mill is this old metal wheel. and the pretty stream that used to power it.

Wonderful backstory here, and nice capture, as well. The grass seems a little too bright in the foreground to my eyes (and my stupid laptop monitor), but the tilt of the wheel is wonderful and the placement behind the tree works well for me.

That's a nice glimpse of long ago. The wheel looks as if it is peeking out from behind the tree to see who is taking the pic.
Good tech, and nice colors in this one. Like the silky looking water too. It must really be moving along.

Beautiful, David! I love the softness of the water and the deep rich color of the wheel itself. I like how most of the color is concentrated down near the water - pictorally supporting the "water is needed to sustain all life" sort of concept. Very good shot!

Yes it is very pretty! I love water photographed like that with the slow shutter speed. It looks like there are still some autumn colors there as well. We get Autumn colors in places all winter too.

Beautiful Griz!
