 During the Holocaust, an underground group called "Resistance was formed to provide help to the Jews who were unjustly condemned by Nazis under Hitler's propaganda.

The clenched fists in this photo suggest the Jews unsuccessful resistance against Nazi which in this photo is symbolized by the red cloth tied at the wrists. The Swastika symbol was intentionally omitted although I feel that it would have been appropriate to include it. My decision to not incorporate it was based beyond appropriateness.

I see a political or religious element within the photo (the star of David) and I like the technical merits of you photo but I don't understand its statement. Based solely on technical quality and presentation I score this moderately highly (7 although I'll revisit that). For presenting a clear message I find this intriguing. Is this a statement of repression of the state of Israel? If so, by whom? A reference to western political pressure to deal with neighbors or perhaps a statement of the pressure imherent in constant suicide bombings. The statement seems ambiguous but I am not voting on that, just commenting and wondering apart from the quality of your photo.

i think this would be great in b/w, or if you desaturated everything but the red.

Good symbolism here, except the star of David should really be on the cloth that binds. The artist is certainly pro-Israeli, so the "attempt at resistance" doesn't make much sense. However, the message is VERY clear, so this deserves some recognition.

A desaturation of all colors but the red would, in my opinion, give us a better feel for what your were trying to achieve. 6 -danny
