I had no idea at the time of taking a picture for the propaganda challenge... In fact, I have to admit that I actually had ideas I found interesting; but did not really though of using them. I think that some people would not have appreciated if someone claimed that a country was currently using propaganda on a global scale...

Anyway, I finally took this picture a couple of half hours before the dead line. I did not get the DOF I was looking for, surely because the view angle was to high. Anyway, I did not have enough cookies to have a flatter view angle. What bugs me is the difference of lighting on the right top of the picture. It seems way too bright compare to the rest of the photograph.

The photo is outstanding, the idea etc. For the lighting problem, I have the same camera you have and i get that kind of bright color when i boost the saturation in the menu (wich i stopped doing) and maybe with a larger aperture (f4 or f5.6) and a longer exposure time would have given you both the lighting and the Depth of field you looked for.

Great composition; incredible color. I don't know that I see much correlation with Propaganda and the blue background seems to soften the focus on the edges of the cookies (it tends to blend in the shadows) but overall this is an impressive photo.

This is one of my favourites. The colours, the rhythm and the smiles: it is all wonderful; almost like a scene out of a cartoon. Thanks for sharing.

ohhh man, great compasition, great title, I give this a 9. this photo really isn't super visually stimulation, if it didn't have this title, I don't think I would have scored it as high. Great creativity.

Nice image with great colours but what exactly is the message, thought or concept being conveyed here? Which men are these gingerbread biscuits representing in terms of the message?

I don't know what I'm trusting the smiling men with (can I get close enough to munch one?), but it's a cute, well-photographed idea. Nice job :)

Ah, I like the colours and details. Colours are sharp and vivid and well coordinated. Made me really feel like trusting the smiling men! the image achieve its purpose through fun and a touch of the child in us. But a word of caution smiling men are not always trustable!!! haha!

I think this shot works ... looks like some subliminal, subversive message ... you can just feel them getting alive and spy for the goverment ;)
