If I were to look at this pic w/o any additional info, I would not really understand it. I would want to see more sharpness on the piece in the foreground.

I don't know what it is, either. Maybe it's scary, so some may run from it without dropping a large score. More focus, like the only comment of my Ice-shot so far.

You have pin pointed the area of focus right on the tip. But there isn't enough of the background to really tell what I am looking at. I'm guessing here that its some sort of lily. Maybe if it had more color in the background or if there was less blur to really work for me.

You have very good control of the sweet spot and good focus.
