took me over 1 day to walk to the top of this vulcano in the highlands of iceland, but the view was recouping enough for the exhausting hike, you could see 6 vulcanos and glaciers from there.
btw the snow field inside the crater is about 70-100 meters below me and the crater itself is almost 2km in diameter. i think the relations in the photo are quite deceiving, everything looks soooo close and small...;)
