Taken while on a one-day sojourn to a library in London (it's a two-hour train ride, plus tube trips, as well, once I get to London). It was taken at night (7:00pm) near Russel Square. ISO was set to 1600, and it was my zoom, but I liked the effect overall.

I also processed this one in color. I'm not sure which one I like better.

Great use of the full tonal range of black and white. I think the b&w works better, but I am glad you posted the other image as well.

I'm with Sandy and Deb -- I like the black and white (but the color is awesome, too). I love shots with people moving in them. 8)

Robert this is awesome! Both versions are really great, but I think the black and white has the edge -- just because it adds a touch more drama to that beautiful architecture. I like the moving people in it too. It gives it more of a street look -- and kind of mystical. I love this one!

I think I like the black and white the best.
