The view from my neighborhood. This is a shot that I stitched together to get a panoramic effect. The community of Heffley Creek, and many others, are located in between the two fires. This photo actually spans approximately 40 miles of land. Taken with the old camera so the clarity left a lot to be desired. I went for an abstract look (trying to work with the lack of definition) as it was an "abstract" (meaning, blurry and unfamiliar!) period for the whole of BC that year...
