This is a small town 6 miles south of Anderson. It's Pendleton, In. The entire downtown is a historical ares. It consist of a variety of different shops.Basically the whole downtown area is about 1 1/2 blocks long. They recently became a 2 stop light town.It's really a great place to viosit.

I love midwestern towns like this. Though I suspect it's no longer there, there was a town south of Omaha, Neb a bit that this very much reminds me of. They still had a working soda fountain, the kind where you got ice cream sodas. To me, it's worth keeping these places. Thanks for sharing this!

This looks like such a fun place to hang out. I love walking the streets of old towns like this. This makes me want to grab a latte and go window shopping.
