 A 70+ degree day in the middle of January in Upstate NY... crazy stuff! Played around with a CP filter and some b/w conversions.

I LOVE the way that the valley below appears to be flooded in complete shadow, and the tree alone stands illuminated by the light filtering through the clouds. Glorious. Moody. An awesome atmosphere.

Great photo, love the B&W. I'm still working on those. Thatcher Park is a great place for some photo's. Would have been a great Tree Challenge entry.
