Too dark or too light are subjective qualities. It all depends on the mood you are trying to portray.

For me, I would like more drama in the clouds and just a touch more detail in the foreground.

Quite dramatic as it is though. ;o)

I like the dark effect of what you're going for, but there's nothing to really grab on to in the photo. It would be perfect if there were a bare tree or something on the left to give a final resting place for the eyes.
