 But the flat lighting here makes this really look like a quick snapshot - hard to give a good score to.
 
 It's a good idea, I would try leaving the room dark, opening a window (day) or one lamp on at night and setting up on a table or tripod and capturing the outline of his features from the dark side of room - shooting toward the light.  You may need some fill light to even out the exposure a little, a bounce card of poster board maybe?
 
 Then the lighting is more creative, it looks like you tried to take a nice shot, and voters will be nicer and give you better scores.  Hope that helps.

 so to me.. a shot that does not show love is not a love shot and therefore doesn't meet the criteria

		| | I think the lighting is rather dull, and the colors - or lack of colors - doesnt make it any more interesting (might look better in bw?). Could be improved with a closer crop or some different settings when you shot it. It's an okay try, but it lack some essentials to be in a challenge. |
