 I looked in my old highschool biology textbook to try to remember what I did in Biology, LOL. I remembered, got the microscope out and took the photo. This was a very simple photo to set up. It is a self-portrait. I hope this does well, my prediction is between a 6.0 and a 6.4 Maybe even a new Personal Best.

I wish he wasn't wearing gloves. It is rather distracting. I also wish I could see what he was looking at.

I like your idea here, I am just not completely blown away. There is so much light on the hands I would like to see it balanced with more light on the face. Another cool thing you could try would be to have a black sheet on the table since his shirt blends into the background so much to give the illusion that it is just hands and a face looking in a magnifying glass in space. haha I dunno just brainstorming.

I like the concept, but the different color balances between the gloves and skintone take away a bit, perhaps black and white or toned would have helped.
