As an image: the focus seems off a bit as the radishes and much of the stem areas appear a little out of focus; the watermelon also get's lost in the background and therefore loses its explicit shape, therefore undermining the metaphor. As to the metaphoric entendre: just sort of tacky.

It's funny, I wanted to make this picture in a difeerent setup: after cuttting the leaves off, attaching the radishes to the mellon and capture itlike "Genesis". I think, their resemblance to sperm cells comes out more if their root is shown as their "tail", away from the mellon.
