i admire your fearlessness with the tight crop, heavy shadowing, and b/w conversion. i only wish i could figure out who ormson was and why his fruit is so special.
Despite my best efforts I'm really not convinced that Fruit & Veg look good in B&W - but that's obviously a personal viewpoint. Perhaps if you want to go B&W with F&V you ned to look for items that have a real texture and grain that can be brought out by the mono approach. Still get's a vote though.
A bit too much crammed into the frame. IMO the pepper with the two tomatoes would have been perfect. I like the black & white though, most people don't think of using b&w for fruit and veg.
