For a first-time participant, I'm rather proud. While I realize I'm not a great photographer, I do try, and more importantly, I do enjoy my attempts. All three days worth, to get this final shot. Directly after I let her move away, she walked on my keyboard and peed. Such is life!

Image is blurry. Probably not a good shot for propaganda. That's ok, you are new so I am sure you are still learning.....sorry....

I didn't give you a 1 or 2 but I did understand the message clearly. Perhaps people didn't realize that is indeed what a chinchilla looks like? I thought this was one of the stronger propaganda messages in that the meaning was clear and unambiguous and wasn't trying to sell a physical product. I do agree that it is on the soft side (pun intended) and perhaps loses a little impact by having the background image so small. I think I might have printed that part out to make a poster and positioned the little guy in front. Same concept but you wouldn't lose image space to the edges of the monitor, the browser toolbar, etc. Even better would be to have gotten hold of a model and some fake fur and done a "live" version.

Yikes! I would have thought it was pretty obvious as to how this fits the challenge... and fairly obvious as to what I was trying to say! I do see that the focus is too soft and it isn't quite "straight."

Very nice image of propaganda. In terms of content, maybe you would've had a stronger effect if your background ad wasn't from a computer monitor... the monitor kind of weakens the seriousness of the message (unless you wanted it to be quirky/humorous, but htne it loses some of its propaganda-flavor).

Good idea, cute critter. Personally I don't like screen shot inclusions. Most are too soft on focus. Possibly printing the advert and creating a curved background to wrap around the chinchilla could have elevated this shot. I do like it being black and white. 6

That's what a chinchilla looks like? Cute lil buggar! I'm sure it was difficult to get the guy to stay still long enough for the shot, but your overall focus even on the monitor is soft. To get the 'ad' feel you're wanting, you need a tact sharp focus. A sharpening in your editing software after resize will help some. 5 -danny

Message is strong. Image is weakened by lack of clarity in monitor image and I personally would prefer it without the monitor frame showing.

This is a good fit for the challenge, a nice image of the chinchilla but your monitor screen and message are a but fuzzy. The light might possibly have been better coming in from a different angle. There's a tilt also that is distracting. Did you think about a crop that just left the monitor screen on the right (to the black) and on top again just to the black? All that being said - good pro[pagandsa and clever title.

Very good expression on the chinchilla's face. Very Creative use of the computer. I am impressed with the resolution on the monitor.

Love the idea - might have been better with a print of the message instead of the screenshot but a great piece of "good" propoganda!
