What if, instead of totally desaturating the fruit, you partially desaturated it. Basically, a color gradient from candy to fruit. |

Very creative to pair the fruit with it's candy. Interesting color selection! |

this shot, in concept, isn't a bad idea. but the execution doesn't work. the desaturated parts are just flat and uninteresting and the gummy slices are mostly out of focus and jarring. the selective desaturation makes the subject very unappealing. - 3 |

The desat is well done, but I'm not sure it makes for a particularly appealing shot to look at. |

the partial desat makes the fruit look very bad. |

this is not working for me, sorry. but the title is true-- fruit is nature's candy. the focus is good but the gray fruit does not look appetizing. |

This is kind of cool with the bright colors. To me though I'd rather see it the other way around. SInce this is about fruits I'd rather see a bunch of candy in b/w and have the fruit in color to show it's the healthy choice or something of that sort.
Also somethng looks kind of weird to me on that center apple at the top. |

In this case, I actually like the selective desaturation! |

The fruit being black and white and the candies coloured doesn't appeal to me, it doesn't seem balanced. |
