Yes, it's the Metro again. What can I say? I spend 40 minutes traveling on it each way every weekday, plus time entering, exiting, and waiting for the train.
This is a different take from the usual shots standing on the platform.
I'm trying out a small white border. What do you think?
Hi Jeffrey, stopping by to thumb thru some of the 30-day challenge photos. This is great, one of your strongest IMO. The colors and lighting add a spooky, almost otherwordly glow. And the white border brings it all together nicely. Great job!
Butt Kickin' image!
I would try to clone out the "Big Brother is Watching" cam, and go with the black pin stripe border suggestion. You may be able to get an even higher perspective using a monopod and holding the camera higher and using the self timer. It may be dangerous though because big brother may wonder what you are doing and come after you. I used a monopod to great advantage while on a senic steam RR in New Mex last Oct. for overhead shots while the train was underway.
Your anghle choice was perfect. The lighting capture all the nooks and crannies very well. You might try just alittle wider border just for comparison. The border adds to the overall look.
I love it! This is SUCH a cool photo! I love how you can see the texture in the little compartments, and the different colors of lighting. This is really awesome!
I like the white border, but I think if it were mine, I'd put a small black border to make it pop a little more. . .but that just may be me.
But this picture. . .it's going to look awesome no matter what.
awesome- I first thought it was some kind of planetarium ! Like the different colors in the panels or whatever they are. very nice abstract image. The border is nice & subtle
