I score this photo 10 out of 10. The imagery captures the title of the book in an authentic way; i.e., the ring is a symbol of fellowship as strong as a steel chain

Very good picture, I like the warm tones of the hand and gold against the black background. But after the competition you would want to remove that distracting piece of skin on the finger. 8

Although this is a very good / well shot image, I feel it is to much of a copy of the origional. Technicaly I think it's great.

Nice idea and composition, the only thing at it is a very small thing and I am totally nitpicking here is the hang nail on the middle finger, it makes me want to reach in with my nail clippers and clip it!!! LOL...but like I said that is a very small thing!! 8

fantastic... Other then the hangnail on the middle finger. Nice light, and the fingernails are just like the hobbits.

Good job! But, you know, at least in FOTR the movie, when Frodo holds the ring (that looks like this picture), the ring doesn't have the chain on it yet :))

this is more a picture of the content of the story than a picture of the title. very attractive though. the torn/broken fingernail is distracting.

Your model, focus and lighting are outstanding. Good job. Top three!

Great shot, but the ring is upside down. A bit more DOP would have helped, too.

This hand is from Froddo Bolsist? I guess this photo will be taken.

nice lighting, and a great shot all around. a little obviously inspired by the movie, and the hangnail on your middle finger is a little distracting.
