the crop on this was the biggest decision. I knew i couldn't add black space so my composition had to be "centered" or at least not sa off-centered as I liked it. This was done using a piece of plexiglass and the light shing from beneath it. I did need to darken the reflection a bit in post which helped separate the reflection from the fruit. I hope this gets over 6 ... from stuff I've seen before it will be a 5.5.

You did get a 7 from me, but then again how could I vote it lower?

A pair of eyes would have made this a good shot for the personification challenge with the title "Shocked".

I would have been inclined to include all the reflection or none at all - it's distracting to only have part of it.

I'm curious as to how you set up your lights for this. I was trying for something with an eggplant, but it was too reflective and looked aweful. Good shot

Okay, maybe I just like pineapples, but this is my second 10. (The first was also a pineapple). I think the silhouette and "frame/border" of light is very effective
