 Sunset in NYC, January 16th. Taken from the top of Rockefeller Plaza, "Top of the Rock" . It was an amazing sunset, but cold as heck up there. By the time it was over, my fingers were numb, and I was wearing gloves!

Photo Notes: I used a GND when shooting to help balance the sky and the city. Nonethelesss, it still was necessary to tone map the photo to help bring out the "shadow" area (the city portion).

I agree with Brielle....WOW! From a sunset lover to another....wish that i had been there. I know it was so much bigger than this. Did you just ''know'' it was going to be this beautiful, or were you waiting for it? People wait forever for a shot like this. I know I would!

This is one hell of a photograph. I sat staring at it mindlessly for the past 10 minutes just studying the detail. I am in love with this shot for sure.

What colour! This really is spectacular... but I don't know that its any better than your actual entry. This may have been seen as too much, maybe? 11th with your entry is pretty damn good, congrats!
