I actually skipped commenting on this a few times (sorry); it made me sad, which I guess means as an image it did its job; something that struck me was the way the rescue crew (especially those not at the car) look very matter of fact; I know, they need to be that way, otherwise it would get to be too much, but I think the picture reflects that nicely. I also like the irony in the title. Well done. |

This looks terrifying! I hate to hear that they were all injured. Have you heard yet how they are doing? It's so stark the way this looks so sobering -- yet the beautiful snow capped mountain in the background looks so ethereal and beautiful! What a contrast, and a perfect illustration about how quickly our day can go from normal and routine -- to reeeeeeally bad.
Makes me thankful for having a good day!
