 one hand held light bounced off ceiling, otherwise candle light. Crop, curves, contrast, hue/saturation (was really yellow before).

Don't like the atmostphere created by the lighting.
The subject doesn't hold much interest to me either.
Although it's not a bad set up, composition wise.

I don't know what it is exactly, but The Gospel is called often a "Good News". I get the message quite clearly. The background is a bit distrcting, and the tighter crop would've bring the subjet out a bit more.
