 This is a quite well-known "tops in his field" metal working artist with pieces throughout America. I took several photographs of him in his shop crafting pieces for Pearl out of old memorabilia -- but this shot was quite accidental and candid. I was out taking interior pictures and he just happened to be there installing one of the pieces he made for us. All of the metal work in the Stable was done by him. This piece is the piece that goes over the stage.

The xXx is an old myth in the old beer days that a beer tester would taste the beer in a pub, and if it was horrible, they would stamp the door with one X. If it was good, they would get two XX's. But if it was "the bet" a perfect "10", they would get xXx on their door. It was part of the Pearl logo, and the Stable has the xXx theme throughout. You can find it in the carpet design the railings.. . surprising you in lots of places :)
