I have to ask: What the heck happened to his head????. Cranial gigantism indeed!
That aside, it would be nice if the duck was on the right hand side of the frame and thus swimming INTO the picture rathen than out of it. The way this is currently composed all I see is duck and duck-reflection. Everything else is a distraction rather than complementing your subject.
You could also make this a bit stronger by cropping off everything below the reflection.
In terms of how it meets the challenge? Not especially strong but I won't disagree that ducks are good. |

The lighting of this image is kind of dull, next timne you could make the sharpness of the image a little better. |

Having more space in front of subject moving / looking , makes a more dramatic image. |
