Doing some pre-planning stages for a photo shoot I plan to do in the coming months. Normally you see the "bug" in similiar pictures, but I thought I would just focus on the troll himself.
Natural light coming in. Non-Crop. Hand Held at 1/6 of a second, so there is a bit of a motion blur using the 20mm prime. I tried to mitgate this with sharpening. Adjusted contrast/brigthness. That's it.
Not expecting much, but I hope my "revist" will really make everyone go aww.

Oooh, cute! I ain't never hoyd of him, so it's fun to see. I like the composition, the way we're drawn up his arm. Dunno if that's just how he is or if you made that call, but it's cool.
I knew you lived in Seattle the moment I saw this photo - I lived there right out of college for a couple years. Since you are already aware of the techical issues of your photo (hand-held at 1/6? - can't believe it is this sharp, actually) I won't elaborate too much. I suspect you mainly took this for fun, and it did fit the challenge very well. Looking forward to seeing further photos of this guy - next time with a tripod :-)
Yes they do! I think it was a good prospect for B&W. Good composition. I would have like to see it zoomed out a little but that may have ruined what you were trying to do.
