Well this was the most I ever went through to enter a challenge. I went to buy a white volleyball but for some reason no one in town has a plain white volleyball. Well one did but they wanted $35. So I bought a yellow one at Wal-Mart for $5. Painted it white and then used some red acrylic paint to put my hand print on.

I found a board to put some sand on and because I had no blue skies today I had to make a background. I wanted to try and give the feel of it being on the beach.

My edits are:

Original Image: IMG_6224

Crop
I cloned some reflection of tape in the background
A slight adjustment in levels
Cloned out some minor imperfections in the volleyball
Bumped Saturation to +15
Added 30 pixel white border
resized to 640 pixels
sharpened

hahaha i KNEW someone would do this haha, well done :D The background almost looks like an overcast sky, giving this a feeling as if it were taken at the beach. The reflexion on the ball says otherwise. Perhaps taking this AT a beach (provided you live near one) would give this a little something extra and i would have voted higher i think. Overall i like it, its funny. 6
