taken 30 minutes after midnight in the new years night.
the steam in the background is a factory, that produces electricity out of hot steam, called nesjavellir.
we (my niece,  asij and i) were watching the firewerks in reykjavik from that hill, i'll post a photo i took in the opposite direction after the challenge.
pp: converted from raw in camera raw (cs2), saved as tiff, starightend, cropped, shadows/highlights, gradient map in soft light mode, selective colors, saturation, neat image on the sky, dodging/burning, smart sharpen, resizeing, smart sharpen again, save for web
my first member challenge, so i hope it does well...;)

well, guess i should be happy with that score, for my first free study...
this is the one, i took in the opposite direction, you can see the lights of reykjavik with some last fireworks...
