 The purpose of the image is to capture the color, light variance, and detail of this amazing canyon. The light was very dim, and some earlier efforts to capture longer exposures at lower iso settings were thwarted by other people in the canyon getting in portions of the frame. There is a wide dynamic range in the photo, so there are a couple of areas that are too bright, but I don\\\'t think they detract too much from the photo.

The image was adjusted for color temperature, sharpening, and contrast with no spot editing.

Woooooooooooooow. I envy you to be able to see it with your own eyes. Stunning. It is a real study. Absolutely fantastic. I love the abstract feel, I love the colours, I love the textures and the play of shadow. Pity I can't vote. (No voting, just commenting)

I'm sorry, I don't understand the photo and the title. Just looking at it: the lightning could be better and it seems to be a little oversharped.

Nice shot, really like the curves in the canyon. The colors are great, and its composed very well. I also like the grain type feel to your shot. Well done.
