 Laid the cards out on a piece of white paper and had my wife hold a lamp with a fluorescent daylight bulb in it over the cards. Adjusted the brightness and contrast, saturated a bit more and added a border.

known motif, but excellent version, shadows, dof, sharpness, you can operate that camera, 8

The shallow DOF nicely highlights the aces however I feel that the focused area is too central. Having the cards lower in the frame I think would make for a more dynamic image.
