This was quite by accident, went to get my shot of the church at night because the spot lights added interest to me, got home and noticed I had the eclipse in the shot.

I like the church, very nice but if that white spot towards the upper right corner is supposed to be the moon, it didn't really work well for this shot, the stop sign is also a bit distracting. If it was cropped tighter and the front sign wasn't in the shot (a different angle possibly?) this wouldhave score an 8 or 9 on technical alone, as is a 6

Great idea...the lighted sign and street light detract attention from moon. I might not have noticed the moon without your descriptive title.

The colors and tones here evoke a sacred mood, but I'm afraid I'm missing other clues. I'll think about it some more...

I think I see the moon and I know it was probably not an easy shot to get. However, the moon (top right corner) is a bit blurry. Along with the stop sign and the brigntess of the marquee, the blurriness of the moon just takes away from the beautiful lighting of this building.

A for effort, but the moon is blurry and the church is yellowed and its pretty snapshotty, and believe me, i'm the master of snapshotty.

I would have cropped out the moon and you would have a better composed picture.

an admirable subject to try. A nice idea to include th man-made and the natural sacred places. However I wouldn't have known that was the moon and not a street lamp. If you had moved to the left to take the picture could you have gotten the moon more over the church? With a tripod and a long lens perhaps the exposure on the moon would have been better.
