Great use of the edge of the frame as a box, however I don't feel any depth to the image. I also think that the desat makes it feel even more flat and lacking of depth.

the crop is very good to give the feeling of being trapped. not sure i am getting that from the face though.

this could also work for fill the frame ;)

I think b/w would also be very nice.

Excellent take on the challenge. I really like the way you have "boxed" in your model with perfect cropping. I would like to see more contrast.

Love the confined box within the frame.

Looks trapped - and he must have been in there a long time because he's quite pale. Good lighting.

The ultra tight framing here works very well for this shot, IMO. Nice job.

I can see it looks like you are trapped in a box. The image doesn't work as the on camera flash creates a flat lifeless image. More directional and side lighting would improve the image.

More dramatic sidelighting instead of what looks like front-on flash would have improved this image greatly

I think you should've payed a little more attention to your pp. the hair looks strangely greyish, and I can't say I like the pose.

I wish the lighting wasn't so straight on but that aside I really like what you're trying to do here.
