| With the hand being blurry, this Jack seems to be rising up, nice use of DOF to convey movement (to me, anyway) |

| With playing cards, razor thin DOF still produces a sharply focused subject. On the downside, using the shallowist DOF possible can produce an image where the subject is disconnected from the rest of the image. This I feel is what is happening here. I think having the fingers more in focus would help connect the jack to the rest of the image. |

| Nice photo, but for this challange I gave higher score to photos with both the foreground and the background out of focus. |

| Great idea.. Too bad you can't clone out the wire holding up the Jack. I think that's what that is. No worries though, you had a great composition and you executed it extremly well. Solid 7.. I'd love to see this in color after the challenge is over. |
