great use of shadow for outlining, great triangular composition. 8

I feel the driftwood adds some charachter to the shot, but it has become the subject, as opposed to the model being the subject. I also think that the arm placement and shadow above and below the lower arm is distracting. I think the contrast may be a bit much for me as well.

I like the use of shadow and contrasts.

Seems a bit out of focus.

If this shot was focused it would have been great.

Nice gritty image, I'm just left with one question... Why is the model (obviously inside), wet, and holding a pice of driftwood behind his back? Although this is technically a good photograph, the purpose behind it is lost in the translation.

too bad the image quality isn't really great. seems to be out of focus, not nice for my eyes.

contrast looks good, I like high contrast images, and it works well with the compo and the model.

Clarity could be better, but nice textures and lighting!

An intriguing idea, but I think I'd like it better if the skin were sharper, so the texture really stood out.

I'm a little confused about the driftwood. Regardless I would like to see the subject in sharp focus.

Interesting shapes and lines. Nice tonal range too. Overall the focus looks a bit off though (a bit soft): camera shake? missed focus? PS?

I with this had a more tack sharp focus. The idea of it is wonderful.

good concept
though i would have cropped below the shoulder to get rid of the random hairs ...

Very gritty image. I'm not quite sure what the image is trying to say to me though. Why is a wet man holding a nice piece of wood behind his back against a wall. The label doesn't help. The hand shouldn't be cropped and the middle of the elbow is also not so good to cut off.

I like the tone range and composition, though the stick and title don't really say anything meaningful to me. Focus is ok, but could be a little sharper.

Seems blurry or out of focus to me. I like the strong lines and contrast but I'm not really getting the driftwood?

would have been very good if sharp and crisp.I liked the lighting and shadows.
