 Managed to go to Northwest Trek (a zoo with a difference) because we finally had some sunshine. The animals all looked so good with their full winter coats.
I realize the image has a slight blue cast to it. However, it was a cold day, lots of shady trees, and this is a much truer representation of it all than with warmer colors ( I tried it.... it just wasn't right).

Fantastic DOF, stunning lighting and a very crisp image of a truly beautiful animal. There is something about the cropping of this image and the balance that I find rather appealing. A very good capture, which in my opinion should do well. An 8 for now... and I shall be back to re-visit this image.
